Ahastery Lorenzo was born in Bani, Dominican Republic and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2003. Ahastery is the only girl among three boys and the second to youngest. Her hobbies involve reading, writing and painting. Ahastery’s love for writing began in the eight grade after she exited out of ESL classes and into regular Literature where her love for reading grew, inspiring Ahastery to write her first stories. Ahastery never envisioned herself writing nonfiction, but her walk with Jesus has shown her the power of her testimony and as she aims to please Him, she is willing to give Him full control of her pen. Ahastery is aware that her gift of writing comes from God, and as a result, she aims to use her writing for His Kingdom and Glory.
